I have three ESXi hosts and three licenses I’ve setup on each host. When my cron job backup runs I get the following error.
“ERROR LICENSE_ID Invalid license-- it was issued for a different host”
I’ve tried running on each host
“vertical license activate” and pasted a different license per host. Then run “vertical license show” and see it is successfully registered.
I hope someone can help. This seems like a good product idea if I could get it to work.
If “vertical license show” returns no error then the backup and cron commands should work fine. You can run a test backup to see if there is still a license issue.
