@gchen, in the past when running verticalbackup from an SSH connection to the ESXi host there was a progress bar and transfer rate shown. Setting up verticalbackup again I don’t see that anymore. Was that removed?
What were the options that you used? If you don’t have -v or --log it should have the progress bar.

Right, when --email is specified, --log is automatically added.
